This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: 5 pelvic-fin rays; 70-85 scales in the longitudinal series; 34 vertebrae; black and white intercalated blotches in the posterior portion of the dorsal fin; white iridescent spots on the basal portion of the anal and caudal fins; brownish-grey to greenish-grey flanks with iridescent whitish spots (Ref. 137523). | |||
