Max. size:  26 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 150.0 g
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 12 - 30 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Australia, also in Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  An uncommon species found in shallow shelf waters. Caught mainly with artisanal gear. Sold fresh or dried salted in markets.
