Distinguishing characteristics: pair of short, slender, distal escal filaments; small, simple, posterior escal appendage, without filaments along distal margin; three pairs of long, slender, lateral escal filaments on each side; number of teeth in upper jaw 42-47, lower jaw with 51-52 teeth; vomer with 4-8 teeth; length of illicium 9.4-12.9; head length 23.1-30.6; head width 14.5-19.6; head depth 24.8-27.8; length of premaxilla 18.8-22.4; length of lower jaw 27.4-32.2 (Ref. 86949). | |||
