Distribution:  Asia: Irrawaddy basin in Myanmar.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Processus dentiformis present, 11-13 bars on body, males have no suborbital flap, incomplete lateral line not reaching beyond dorsal fin origin, black basal caudal bar and axillary pelvic lobe present (Ref. 39226).
