Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 19-23; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 17-17. This species has the following characters: D XI,20; A III,17; pectoral-fin rays 14; 43 tubed lateral-line scales; body depth 73.2% in SL; light brown in color with body uniformly pale, the head somewhat darker, a dark elongated spot between 2nd and 7th soft dorsal fin rays, bordered anteriorly by a pale area of similar width, and extending onto membrane between last spine and first ray (Ref. 76759). | |||
