Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: known only from southern Western Australia, from Recherche Archipelago to Rottnest Island.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky, algal-covered reefs, particularly at offshore localities (Ref. 26203).
