Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Easter Island.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21-222; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 18-19. Similar in color pattern to that of Pseudogramma xanthum but ground color is red (Ref. 49111).
