Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  6.8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 12 - 65 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-27; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 16-16. Description: Characterized by generally brown color, paler ventrally; each scale with large yellow spot; anterior lateral line scales 24-31; predorsal scales 16-24; depth of body 28.0-36.3 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Solitary or in pairs around rocky outcrops and sponges (Ref 90102).
