Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 0 - 1000 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Isla Guadalupe, Mexico.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 37-37; Anal soft rays: 32-32; Vertebrae: 44-44. Coronal pore present. Teeth in both jaws uniserial posteriorly. Gill rakers paired, pyramidal, spinules on margins of triangular spinule plate uniserial. Anus below middle of postorbital space. Body color pale, tongue and palate smoky-black, pyloric caeca pale, intestine brown (Ref. 43481).
