Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 200 - 300 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: off Taiwan. Eastern Central Pacific: Hawaii.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 36-37; Anal soft rays: 16-16; Vertebrae: 53-54. Pelvic fin more than 7% of SL; depth about 1/7 of SL. Procurrent caudal ray 15/16 (Ref. 39393).
Biology:  Benthopelagic (Ref. 58302). Collected among the stomach content of Etulis species angled off the east coast of Taiwan at about 200 m depth (Ref. 39393).
