Family:  Cottidae (Sculpins)
Max. size:  28 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 0 - 140 m
Distribution:  Asia: Endemic to Lake Baikal, Russia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters (Ref. 26334). Found under stones near the shore to a depth of 140 m. Most abundant in autumn and winter at a depth of about 100 m (Ref. 2058).
