Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 36 - 180 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: western Gulf of Mexico, from mouth of Mississippi River in USA to Campeche in Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in offshore waters from 36-180 m depth.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 11 August 2011 Ref. (130435)
