Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from Bahrain and Qatar.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 8-9
Biology:  Inhabit shallow coastal waters (Ref. 13710). Feed on detritus, minute benthic invertebrates and algae (Also Ref. 13710). Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
