Max. size:  8.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; depth range - 20 m
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Tanganyika.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits inshore waters to 20 m depth. Oviparous (Ref. 205). Eggs are incubated in the mouth of both parents (Ref. 47642). No value as food (Ref. 4967).
