Family:  Amphiliidae (Loach catfishes), subfamily: Doumeinae
Max. size:  9.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Cuango (=Kwango), Cuilo (Kwilu) and Luangue drainages, all southern tributaries of the Kasai River (middle Congo River basin) (Ref. 3818, 11970, 78218) in Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum TL was recorded at 11.3 cm.

Threat to humans:  harmless
