Family:	Oxudercidae (Mudskippers), subfamily: Periophthalminae
Max. size:	10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:	demersal; freshwater; brackish, amphidromous
Distribution:	Asia: India, Myanmar, Thailand, Sarawak, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:	Distinguished by the following characteristics: Pectoral fin rays 12-15; spinous dorsal fin IV -XV; length of D 1 base 3.2-17.9% SL; pelvic fins lack frenum and separate to fin bases; isthmus completely scaled; snout lacking scales; dorsal fins contiguous in adult males (Ref. 5218).
Biology:	Inhabits rivers and estuaries (Ref. 4833). Amphibious air-breather (Ref. 31184).
