Max. size:  6.178 cm SL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 5.3 g
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Greece (Kalamas to Arachthos drainages, Corfu Island) and Albania (Butrint drainage).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults are found in springs, streams, ponds, usually in shallow, quiet water with dense vegetation (Ref. 59043).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 31 January 2006 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
