Max. size:  6.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Red Sea, southern Oman (Ref. 11441), and the Ryukyu Islands (Ref. 559).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Caudal fin rounded, about equal to head length.
Biology:  Inhabits tide pools (Ref. 559) and reef flats.
