Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Description: Characterized by pinkish body color; six copper-brown stripes; midlateral stripe extending onto tail as dark brown streak; lower head and side of belly with row of pearly spots; greatest depth of body 2.3-2.6 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
Biology: | Forms aggregations. Found in coastal reefs, sometimes in silty areas, in 15-35 m (Ref 90102). | |||
