Diagnosis: | Has 11-14 branched dorsal-fin rays; a black spot at top of gill opening; midlateral stripe on caudal peduncle (Ref. 12693). | |||
Biology: | Found in upland areas with fast flowing waters (Ref. 56749). Probably migrates into seasonally flooded forests. Feeds on periphyton, phytoplankton and algae (Ref. 12693). | |||
