Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Altamaha River in Georgia, USA to Escambia River in Alabama, USA; south in Florida, USA to St. Johns and Withlacoochee River drainages.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in spring, spring-fed headwaters and creeks.
