| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 6-6; Vertebrae: 38-39. Eye large, high and lateral. Snout rather pointed. Barbel small. Papillae on upper lip in 1 row; median papillae much larger; mental pad at middle, heart-shaped and with well developed papillae at margin. Caudal peduncle low and slightly long. Breast inside pectoral fins naked (Ref. 42952). | |||
