Scales rows above lateral line to middorsal spines 8; on cheek 7-8. Interspace between nostrils wider than 1.5 the diameter of the posterior nostril. Upper jaw slightly longer than lower jaw; gape almost horizontal; lips fleshy; snout elongate (Ref. 44255). | |||
