Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 650 - 796 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: Portugal.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 5-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal soft rays: 73-118. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the hyaline color of the flap at the posterior edge of the operculum and the light-colored pectoral and pelvic fins (Ref. 132459).
