Family:  Poeciliidae (Poeciliids), subfamily: Poeciliinae
Max. size:  2.82 cm SL (male/unsexed); 3.18 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish, non-migratory
Distribution:  Central America: endemic to Grand Cayman Island.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits brackish water in mangrove coastal lagoons and fresh water in limestone depressions.
