| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 2-2. A rather soft, large, inflated head; small head pores. Dorsally scaleless snout extend onto forehead. Orbit diameter about 29% of head length; snout almost equal to orbit, about 1.1 into broad interorbital (33% HL in width). Rudimentary barbel, less than 3% HL. Well developed ADW and PDW, at either end of the long periproct region, separated by a narrow isthmus. 1D II,9 (Ref. 11651). | |||
