Max. size:  17 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Sumatra, Indonesia (Ref. 7050). Reported from the river systems of Thailand (Ref. 26336).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in mainsheams and peat adjacent areas. Important food fish in northeast and central Thailand, sometimes seen in aquarium trade (Ref. 57235).
