| Diagnosis: | Has 4 horizontal scale rows between lateral line and mid-dorsal scale row at dorsal-fin origin; 7-8 gill rakers on first arch (Ref. 12693). | |||
| Biology: | Found in medium to large upland rivers and probably migrates into smaller streams during rainy season (Ref. 12693). | |||
