Max. size:  3.02 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Araguari and Oyapock River basins.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This small species exhibits a calm behavior. It was introduced in Germany in 1962 for the aquarium trade (Ref. 12225).
