Distribution:  Central America: Trinidad.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits clear to slightly turbid standing water at low elevations and along the edges of swamps (Ref. 11225). Occurs frequently in brackish waters (Ref. 11225). Maximum length of aquarium specimen 4.0 TL (Ref. 12468).
