Family:  Paralichthyidae (Large-tooth flounders)
Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 66 - 121 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California to Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits soft or rocky bottoms. Exploited on a local level with trawl nets and is utilized fresh or as fishmeal.
