Max. size:  10.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 16 - 20 m
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Victoria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in exposed areas with a soft mud bottom (Ref. 4983). The specimens which were examined contained remains of dipteran pupae and some fragments of unidentifiable crustaceans (Ref. 558).
