| Biology: | Adults spawn during September in Adélie Land. Hatching probably occurs in spring (mid-November) and pelagic development probably ends in autumn (February and March). Food items: fishes, amphipods, fish eggs and polychaetes (Ref. 5192). Larval pelagic phase is short (Ref. 41551). | |||
