Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; brackish, non-migratory
Distribution:  North America: southeastern Florida in USA and Cuba.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits tidal creeks under high-storied red mangroves. Vulnerable because of its highly specific habitat requirements. Viviparous.
