Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: lower Cross river system, southeastern Nigeria. Also known from the Ndian River in southwest Cameroon (Ref. 7372).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and small streams in the coastal rainforest and forested savanna, mainly in waters on tertiary sedimentary soil (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
