Max. size:  6.1 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found only in Choctawhatchee and Pensacola Bay drainages in southern Alabama and Florida panhandle in the USA.
Biology:  Inhabits sandy and muddy pools of creeks and small rivers.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 09 December 2011 Ref. (123251)
