Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Seychelles to Delagoa Bay, Mozambique.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Dark brown with dark mottlings; white spot on pectoral base (Ref. 2798).
Biology:
