Family:  Cyprinodontidae (Pupfishes), subfamily: Cyprinodontinae
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  North America: Lake Eustis and other headwater lakes of Oklawaha River in central Florida, USA. Possibly not different from Cyprinodon variegatus.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in lakes. Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
