Biology: | Inhabits waters of lower elevation between 20N and 80 m. Found in puddles, swamps and brooks of low to moderate velocity. Eats insects (Ref. 36880). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
