Family:  Pomacentridae (Damselfishes), subfamily: Pomacentrinae
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 3 - 10 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific. Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 12-13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 10-12. Description: Head and body dorsal blue extending down to two-thirds of side, shading ventrally to yellowish white caudal peduncle saddle brilliant blue. Body depth 1.9-2.2 in SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Presumed to be reef-associated (Ref. 48494). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
