Diagnosis: | Body pale with 6 irregular bands; dark bar at base of caudal fin; oblique dark bars on dorsal fins (Ref. 026938); first dorsal fin with VII spines; lack scales on the head and anterior section of body; have modified basicaudal scales on the caudal peduncle; have completely separate pelvic fins; light to dark brown body color with darker bars on sides (Ref. 92840). | |||
