Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 521 - 1262 m
Distribution:  Indian Ocean: Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A little-known deepwater dogfish found on the upper continental slopes. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 21 November 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
