Distribution:  Western Pacific: Northern and northwestern Australia and southern New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 10-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 27-30; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Inhabits shallow coastal waters and estuaries (Ref. 9772). A food fish.
