Family:  Pomacanthidae (Angelfishes)
Max. size:  20 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 35 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Aqaba, Gulf of Aden.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coral-rich areas (Ref. 9710). Often in pairs or small groups (Ref. 9710). Probably feeds on algae, sponges, and benthic invertebrates (Ref. 9710). Minimum depth reported taken from Ref. 9710.
