Max. size:  3.6 cm SL (male/unsexed); 4 cm (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7; dH range: 10
Distribution:  South America: Apeú and Caete rivers in Bragança, Pará, Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Eggs are deposited on the ceiling of caves and are tendered by the female parent (Ref. 2060).
