Distribution:  South America: Rio Mamore basin, Bolivian Amazon.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal soft rays: 16-18; Vertebrae: 34-34
Biology:  Found in a temporary swamp of seasonally flooded forest.
