Family:  Antigoniidae (Deepbody boarfishes)
Max. size:  11 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 400 - 550 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean and Western Pacific: endemic to Australia, from off North Islands (27°04'S) to Northwest Shelf (118°15'E), Western Australia and from off Raine Islands, Queensland (11°35'S) to Cape Everard, Victoria (37°48'S).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Generally demersal, on the continental shelf and continental slope (Ref. 9563; 7300).
