Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 430 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Virginia to southern Florida in USA and Caribbean. Also Nova Scotia to Gulf of Mexico, Guyana to north eastern Brazil (Ref. 26938).
