Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 7 - 7.69999980926514; dH range: 5 - 20; depth range - 1 m
Distribution:  Central America: Rio Ameca basin, Jalisco, Mexico.
Biology:  Inhabits a quiet pool of clear to murky water at a depth of up to 1.2 m and with bottom consisting of sand, silt, rocks and boulders.
