Max. size:  9.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Paloemeu River, Marowijne drainage in Suriname.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Appears to be rare and limited to its type locality because it has never been caught again since it was described (Ref. 35237).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 December 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
